After more than four decades of racing around in circles, Tony Stewart has embarked on a straight and narrow path, albeit at more than 300 mph. The championship-winning racecar driver who has successfully transitioned to being a championship-winning team owner joined the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series in 2022. His team, Tony Stewart Racing, fields two fulltime entries – one in Top Fuel driven by Leah Pruett and one in Funny Car for driver Matt Hagan. Hagan gave Stewart his first NHRA title in 2023 and Stewart’s wife, Leah Pruett, finished third in points in 2023 with a career-best season.
